Beautiful shoe but fit is different from usual Danskos

This shoe is gorgeous in the 2-tone brown, but the fit is different than other Danskos. The footbed feels narrower and the heel a bit higher than the ususal footbed. They are not quite as comfortable as all my other Danskos, and they don't feel as stable. It's possible they will shape to my foot and become more comfortable over time, but this isn't what I expect from a Dansko shoe. Too bad, b/c the style is just beautiful. I would have given it 5 stars if it fit the way I expected.

Cute but narrower than usual Danskos

This sandal runs narrower than most other Dansko styles! My foot is average width and yet it looks unattractively smushed and puffy in this shoe in my usual size 37, even after adjusting the straps. I have about 10 pairs of Danskos in size 37, clogs and sandals, and none of them are this narrow. The length is also a bit on the small side. Like so many other reviewers of this style on other websites, I'd recommend ordering a size up from your usual Dansko size. I've never had sizing issues with Danskos before, or problems with the fit, so it's disappointing that they changed a winning formula. Other than that, it's a sweet, simple shoe with good arch support. And comfortable, as expected!
