I've personally never had a problem with it. But when I'm backpacking with it I'm usually so tired I could fall asleep on anything. And with how comfortable this hammock is it should be pretty easy to get used to. The only problem I've experienced is that you get colder faster because there isn't any insulation between you and the ground. But they sell insulators that solve that problem. Hope this helps!

Therm-a-Rest Z Lite Sleeping Pad

This pad is perfect if you're looking to shave ounces. But if you're looking for something that packs into a smaller size, you might wanna look around a bit more.

I downsized a full size. I wear 12 street shoe and bought these in 11's. They fit like a glove.

Evolv Shaman Climbing Shoe

I've had these shoes for a few months now. And even with climbing in them about 3-4 times a week I have absolutely no smell. My other evolvs I have to keep in a bio-hazard bag.
