ALPS Mountaineering Extreme 3 Tent: 3-Person 3-Season

I give it 5 stars assuming you either Car Camp or can get someone else to backpack it for you. With the expedition(double thickness footprint) we're talking 9 lbs here.
I've used mine 12 months a year all seasons for two years as a Scoutmaster. My son carried it on a 14 day hike thru Philmont and he may be taking it again this year - it has no discernible wear.
I've literally floated on the floor when I didn't get to pick my site and watched other tents doing the swimming pool gig. I've also had 4 inches of snow on this bad dog and didn't know until I got outside.
It's an amazing value, but for your backs sake if you're carrying it, backpack with something else.
