Louis Garneau Corsa Women's Shorts
July 30, 2012
I have a pair of last year's Corsa shorts. They are my gold standard of all my shorts for hot weather. I live in Texas, so I'm riding in hot sun a lot (like a metric century in 105 degree heat last Saturday). The fabric feels fantastic - extremely light - and just wicks sweat. You can feel the air circulate when you stand up out of the saddle. I love the waistband - it is comfortable and stretchy enough to accommodate gaining or losing weight. I think they are pretty true to size and, although I've lost 20 lbs since I ordered mine, I'm still fine in the pair I got, although considering a new pair in a smaller size. As for chamois, I think it's good, but not my absolute best. Still, I've ridden with these in many 48-50 mile rides. I just haven't taken them on a century, since I haven't ridden one this year. They wash easily, but I do not stick them in the dryer. Bottom line, for hot weather riding, I think they are worth the money. Hope that's helpful.
