High Alpine and Spring Touring Tested

Stoic Bombshell Jacket - Men's

I bought this jacket as my first shell. I have previously been using an insulated jacket for the colder months, and a raincoat for warmer ski touring trips.
Paired with a down jacket, the bombshell is the perfect all around jacket. I have used it in winds upwards of 50mph and temperatures below 0F, and besides a little excess flapping in the wind, it kept me warm. On the other hand, without the insulated layer, It had enough vents to keep me cool and dry on spring outings.
Pros - Hood fits over helmet, zippers work great, vents well.
Cons - A little loose fitting in the waist, but the powder skirt can keep it tight
