I bought this as a gift for a friend, and will 86% probably keep it for myself, it's that good. The acrylic material is startlingly soft, (more so than many other beanies out there featuring this textile). Even the generously size pom-pom is silky soft!
Coal also doesn't skimp because the entire inside of the beanie is lined with fleece. This is warm, funky, fashionable and unique. It's also a touch on the baggy side, so you will have a little dangle in the tip-top half.

It's a bit floppier than I expected, but I do have a tiny head. That said, it's still pretty adorable in action.

I had the opportunity to try this jacket on and found that a size small was far too large and an XS was just perfect, with enough room to layer a mid to thin down jacket underneath. I liked that the length on this jacket was longer than the Beta AR.

I am 5'3" and 120lbs.

These are a really comfy choice. I like the fit, seems true to size. The insides are really soft and fuzzy, quite wonderful. I like that the cuffs are so slim, they easily slip inside my jacket sleeves, bonus! Dexterity is fine...as far as mittens are concerned. I will have to update this review after I have used them a few times, as they are still too new to demonstrate their ability to resist wear and tear.

These mittens have worked great in the low 30s and 20s in Utah's dry winter climate.

There are some things I LOVE about this jacket, and some things that really aren't so great.
LOVES
* Jacket is super comfortable to wear. I use it for stand up paddleboarding, and the low profile shoulder straps do not interfere with paddling at all, which is amazing. The front pockets are nice, and the jacket isn't embarrassingly huge or bulky to wear. I used to avoid wearing life jackets since they were so bulky and uncomfortable, but not so with this model :)

DISLOVES
* Astral claims the mesh upper in this vest can be used as a sports bra. Ummm.....really!?? I think a dude designed this vest, there is no way this could ever possibly function as a sports bra for me. Now, I understand I am not the most well endowed lady, but I still can't figure out how that would ever work. It's way too big of a chamber to ever provide the coverage needed to function as a bra. Nice try guys. The other gripe is that the jacket is somewhat hard to get on. I always have trouble reaching the side buckles. The jacket can be a real pain to get on if you don't have handy helpers nearby.

So, other than those two cons, (not that the bra situation is a huge one....I don't really want a bra in my life jacket anyway) this is an awesome product. I would definitely recommend this to a friend!

This "Show up and Blow Up" board is a treat! Here are my impressions.

* convenient - I live in a tiny apartment, so this is really the only feasible way for me to own a paddle board. It does store fairly small, so this was really the only way for me to participate in stand up paddle boarding. While it is honestly kind of a pain in the "you know what" to blow up, that seems to be a reasonable sacrifice/trade-off for me.

* stable - I am a relatively new paddle boarder, but I found this board to be infinitely more stable than the other two traditional hard and soft top paddle boards I have tried out. When using it, some of my friends didn't actually even realize it was inflatable!

* AWESOME to travel with! I just took this on a flight back east, and it was a breeze! I just rolled her up in a snowboarding bag with wheels. I added a few bundles of clothing to protect my paddle, and it was awesome! Obviously not as simple an option with a traditional hard board, so SHUBUs are excellent travel buddies.

*SHUBU paddles like a dream in smooth water, I have yet to try river running, but will update this review when I do so. Choppy water paddling, not ideal, but still learning, so this could be a user error type situation.

*Included travel bag seems sturdy and haven't had any issues with it thus far. I did actually upgrade my SUP pump, since the one that came with was kinda dinky.

----OVERALL-----
Pretty awesome, I love this thing. I've had a blast taking it out and will continue to do so all summer. I am loving that it is such a breeze to travel with. I will be taking it up to Wyoming next week to explore some rivers/lakes. I would definitely recommend this for new paddlers or those who have storage limitations.

**** UPDATE****
River performance: awesome. I am no river expert, by any stretch of the imagination, so I was terrified, but the Shubu did awesome! I even straddled a few rocks with no harm at all to my board or fins. I did take the large, main skeg out, since this was a shallower river. Without the skeg the board was a bit squirrely and hard to control, but that was the only option with the low water levels. I did class I and II rapids with no major problems. The board did so great. It was more rigid than I expected, and I had an absolute blast!!

I really love this lil guy.
It's awesome for backpacking because it packs up so small, and it actually fits my tiny head! (Most headlamp straps have to be cranked way down, since I do have a very petite head).

I do find it uncomfortable if I wear it for a long time without a beanie or hat on. And do watch the long hair.

But other than those two factors, this is a very reliable light, small, dependable, awesome. DO IT!

A cheeky alternative to your everyday 'LBB'… does run a touch smaller than the usual Billabong bottoms around the waist, so go a size bigger if you're not into the sausage casing look.

Quite possibly the coolest thing on this website right now, and not a ton around, so get one. Talk about versatile. This is the 'yang' to your one piece powder suit you've rocked all around the mountain this winter. It's a top and bottom in one and fits into a sandwich sized ziplock. Throw it in your beach bag with some flops! Super versatile and effortless to wear!

Great little tank in the cool whip pattern will be one to wear all summer… little bit of a boxier fit in the mid section, but perfect for those desert hikes, or to throw on apres mtn. bike ride with your favorite jorts. Heyyyyy theeeerrrrrrre!!

A good looking shoe, but definitely runs a 1/2 size big in my opinion. Great color combo, and quite comfy!

Ahhhh. This one will go everywhere with you this summer, and probably through the winter, and then again next summer…. you get the point. Lightweight cotton, black and white geometric pattern, and unique back closure/tie detailing guarantee this piece looks great with your black skinny jeans or thrown over a swimsuit . A looser fit, so go with your true size.

Keeping in line with Billabong's perfectly shaped swimwear, this bikini bottom fits true to size, and can be cinched down with the string-tie sides for those pre-coffee surf sessions. Goes great with any black triangle top and a tan! I love to mix and match, personally.

These are absolutely beautiful sandals. (Obviously a bit spendy for flip flops, but worth the investment, I think!). The construction is flawless, and the leather is gorgeous, I opted for the "Dark Java" color which is wonderful for most any outfit. I like these so much because they are casual but can also be used to dress up a casual style. The comfort is phenomenal, Olukai calls this the "wet sand principle" your feet actually sink down into the cushioning on these puppies. WOW. You can't really explain it, you just have to try it!

Worn these nearly every day for about 3 months now. They really hold up beautifully. Quite impressed with the durability.

Picked one of these up recently. I like the sun protection UPF of 50, great for hanging out in up in the mountains here in Utah. This is very lightweight and comfy to wear. The side pocket is awesome, perfect for stashing my car key. I use this mainly for trail running and mountain biking, and its moisture wicking properties are all-time!

I was surprised a bit by the sizing though. I typically take a size small at 5'3" tall and 120 lbs. The small was terribly short, (think going to be a belly shirt after a few whirls in the dryer), so I went with a Medium, which fit much better.

I'm new to the fine sport of trail running, but these are a game changer for me. My old clunky running shoes are gathering dust in the closet! I read that these were lightweight, but WOW, they feel like baby clouds on my feet!

So far they have been very comfortable, and despite the minimalist design, I haven't had any aches or pains to speak of. I am a woman's size 6 in most street shoes, I went ahead and ordered the size 37. This size is good, but a tiny bit loose. I probably could have gotten away with a 36.5, but it is not enough of an issue to bother with.

Overall very pleased with these, and they have helped me to launch a new passion for trail running!

*** UPDATE***
The factory issue laces are somewhat annoying. They are really smooth and slippery in texture, so they often come untied. I either need to learn how to tie better knots, or swap out the laces, most likely the latter option.

Ordered these on an impulsive whim.
Was upset at first, because the toe box was very uncomfortable, and rubbed against the top of my foot.
A few wears later, and these are some of my favorite shoes!

They broke in nicely after about 3 days of use, and offer excellent support. The heavy-duty sole provides stellar traction for us clumsy gals. I've used these in wet/wild conditions and didn't have any slippage, which is pretty unusual for me, as I'm not the most surefooted creature. Overall very pleased with this purchase. Construction appears solid, and hope to have these for many years to come.

This jacket is stunning. I have never owned a jacket more flattering than this one, the cut is absolutely perfect and I feel like a million bucks when I wear this out and about. Icebreaker included lots of thoughtful details like a smooth silky lining, pockets that both zip and snap, a 2-way zipper, a handy little breast pocket, and adjustable sleeve cuffs. The texture of this Merino wool is SO soft and looks just beautiful.

I was surprised about the sizing though. I typically take a small in most all brands, and was lucky enough to try this one on before buying. I am 5'3" and around 120 lbs and was SWIMMING in the size small. The sleeves were inches too long and the jacket itself was much too loose. The XS size was 100% perfect.

Hope to have this jacket for a long long while. Definitely WORTH the initial investment, because this baby is built to last. The classic cut will never go out of style...

I have the older, longer version of this dress, which is so super flattering, comfortable, and effortless.
I loved the dress so much that I bought two of this shorter version, which I like better.

The shorter length works well for my petite stature. I wear this to work, bbqs, and even if I want to feel fancy while camping. It is beyond comfortable, and very fetching. Definite score!

Just picked up a pair o these babies. I am very pleased with fit and style, they look quite nice. The length is perfect for any activity, biking, hiking or running. I do like the little key pocket, though it could be a tiny bit larger. These are swell, since you can wear them a few times between washings, that antimicrobial treatment works like a charm!
I am about 5'3" and 120 lbs and fit into the size small comfortably.

I use these for skiing. The 3/4 length is perfect, as it doesn't interfere with your ski boot, and taller ski socks can be tucked up underneath the cuff. Totally comfortable, and this thermal pair definitely offers enough warmth for all but the coldest days up on the hill. I have found they are much too warm to exercise indoors, or in warmer temps.
I am 5'3" and 120 lbs, the XS would have been shockingly small on me. I opted for the size Small, and it is the correct size for me. They are a bit tricky to get on, but that is the way these tights are made to perform, so once you squeeze in, they feel good, look great, and perform excellent.

I highly recommend them for skiing!

Love this tent.
Picked it up for backpacking. It's ridiculously easy to assemble, helps to have 2 people setting it up, but can be assembled solo without too much trouble. Love the design and double door access. (No more stumbling over your partner in the night to take a wee). This tent packs up pretty small, which is great too.

Myself and my boyfriend are pretty small in stature, so we find that this tent is pretty spacious. We can fit a small gear bag each, in addition to having plenty of sleeping room.

******** Update*******
Never encountered too much precip in this tent, as I mainly use it for desert camping, however it passed the test with FLYING COPPER COLORS!

Up in the Uinta Mountains, this tent was good to go in an hour long sustained downpour complete with 15 minutes of hail. After the deluge, I went to check the tent and was devastated to find it sitting in huge, deep puddles that had pooled on my ground tarp. I was certain my sleeping stuff was soaked, the tent was literally sitting in huge, deep pools of standing water.

Nope! Moved the tent, shook the tarp and absolutely everything inside was bone dry. I was floored, this tent is AWESOME!!!!! Waterproof abilities went above and beyond anything I could have expected. BUY IT NOW!

I have a wider foot, so the 100mm last fits great. I am a women's size 6.0 street shoe, and I opted for the size 22.5. After about 40 days I wish I had been able to order the size 22.0, but it was unavailable.
I am an aggressive all-mtn freeride skier, and these boots are leagues better than my Salomons. These boots are very easy to put on and pull off. Boot height is solid, since I am indeed using fatter powder skis, so the improved shell design helps turn fatter planks.

I've had trouble keeping warm in these boots, but I do have poor circulation, and it might just be time to invest in better ski socks.

So far about 40 days in, and these are the best boots I have owned. Performance is solid.

Love these beauties, (or should I say "booties").
They look amazing and keep my feet warm before and after skiing. I found that after 2 years these boots have packed out a bit, so I would definitely not order a larger size. I recommend ordering your normal shoe size, or going half a size down, since they do pack out so much. Other than that, they have handled the use and abuse of the past 2 winters like champions. I always receive compliments on these boots, and feel that they really enliven my winter wardrobe!

Tried this out on a friend's sleeping setup, and knew I HAD to have one. Paired with my Big Agnes air mattress, it feels more comfortable than my bed!! So amazing. The pad itself is about an inch thick, and provides the extra padding you need to disguise the fact you are sleeping on an air mattress. The most comfortable camping sleep I've ever had. Obviously not for backpacking, but if you desire luxe car camping...this is your ticket to sweet sweet dreams.

This is a great beanie! It does have a bit baggier fit, if that is what you are into, I found it a bit slouchy for my taste, but then again, I have a tiny kid-sized head. The fabric is soft, it's comfy to wear and the pom is just the right size. I do believe if I had an average size head, this beanie would be picture perfect.

I have a tiny sized lady head (have to buy XS size ski helmets or Youth Large). So I thought it would be genius to start ordering kid's size beanies to avoid the dreaded beanie brim in the eyes. IT WORKED. This fits great, looks nice, and I enjoy it lots when I don't feel like having nice hair. Love it.

I have to buy kid's size hats since I have a rather small Noggin. (Fit into XS adult sized ski helmets), but opt for kid's beanies, so they don't cover my eyes. This fits great. Love the colors, super soft and wear it on the regular. Not super warm, wouldn't recommend for skiing, but a great après ski choice!

Love this jacket. Was a bit worried about the diagonal zipper, and I can say that it did take some getting used to, but now I find it pretty handy. No cold zipper face! (Though it is really hard to find the zipper toggle with mittens on, guess I need more practice). Hood is solid, fits over a helmet. Wish this jacket had more pockets, but the Core vents are nice. The weight of this jacket is unbelievable! SOOO lightweight!

So far construction is good, have about 15 ski days on it. Color is great, never lost in the crowd! I am 5'3" and 120lbs and opted for the XS. Should have probably gone with a size Small, but they were out of stock, and not going to be getting anymore in this year. Backcountry is the only US dealer for the Norrona brand. So I went for it! No regrets, but I can't wear it on colder days since it's too tight to fit my down jacket underneath.

Advanced female skier here, tried all kinds of skis, searched for years, FINALLY FOUND THEM! I DIDN'T KNOW YOU COULD LOVE A SKI SO HARD.
I am 5'3" and 120 lbs, the 175 size is perfect. They SLAY the powder, they can carve surprisingly well. I mistakenly took them on a trip to Silverton, Colorado when they hadn't recieved snow for 6 weeks, thought I was going to suffer, but they absolutely destroyed the ice/crud/chunder/crap that we were skiing. This is my fav one-quiver ski for Snowbird.

The rockered tip and tail make skiing powder a dream come true, hucking is a cinch as the wide platform and rocker makes landing a breeze. The edges hold well on harder and groomed snow. They bust crud better than I could have wished for. (And it may sound girly, but the graphics positively GLOW on the snow, I know that's corny, but they make me GIDDY.)

Not to mention all the GREAT V-JJ related jokes. It's too easy. Girls will love em, Guys will want em.

These do the job for me. They are quite warm and love the neutral color. My only beef is that Icebreaker seems to run a little bit big. I am normally a size Small in most brands (5'3" and 120lbs) and these are too long for me. I would have been much happier with the XS size. The size Small bunches up and looks funny, so I only use them for skiing and hiking. Other than that size factor, these are awesome. Not itchy, warm, and anti-stink!

YUM!! These things RULE! So much yummier than cliff bars. A bit spendy, but you get what you pay for. All organic, raw and vegan ingredients. I'm really not much in tune with the whole vegan thing, so I didn't really expect to like these when I tried one. I was pleasantly shocked! YUM! I liked them so much I bought a whole box! They are awesome for backcountry skiing, taste great, portable and basically a whole meal's worth of nutrients. Always keeps me skiing all day when I don't have time to pack a 'real' lunch.

This is the warmest fleece I have ever worn. PERIOD.
I often find that it is actually too warm for all but 32 or below days.
The quality of this jacket is amazing and I am pretty thrilled save this one issue which is somewhat of a deal breaker for me. The inner lining underneath the zipper is CONSTANTLY getting caught in the zipper when I try to zip or unzip this jacket. I think they may have made the zipper lining too long, as it is always getting stuck and I find myself embroiled in an epic battle to extract myself from the jacket. I thought about cutting the lining down, so it isn't always falling victim to the zipper, but I think I will contact Norrona before I do that.

I will never buy another brand again, BIG AGNES nailed this one!!
I have taken this bag winter camping in the desert, slept in a snow cave and used it for general summer camping. The quality is excellent, one year later and it still looks like new after much use! I would say it is definitely a warm bag, since I've used it in such cold temps (but I do tend to output a TON o heat when sleeping)
The sleeping-pad sleeve is INGENIOUS!! I always hated the constant all nighter slip-n-sliding with traditional bags! But the pad for this sleeping bag tucks snugly in the pocket and I've never slept so well camping in my entire life! The bag is roomy and comfortable. Throw Big Agnes' "sleeping Giant" memory foam pad on top of your air mattress and get ready for the BEST SLEEP of your life! I love it more than my own bed!!

These babies are FAT.
The float like butter and they have given me the confidence to begin jumping off stuff since landing on these planks is a breeze! I have these mounted up with Marker Baron bindings, and use them in-bounds and for backcountry touring. LOVE LOVE THEM.

I purchased these bad boys for a Halloween costume (Rainbow Brite), and they are OUTTA this world! I wear a size 6 or 6.5 woman's shoe and the size 35.0/38.0 fit like a glove. They are a bit on the tight side the first time you wear them, but they pack out to a comfortable size after just a few uses.
These are just basically pretty ridiculous, and you certainly get some reactions when people see you wear them. I'm impressed with the quality of the fabric, and so far so good! I wear them apre' ski and never fail to attract some real 'winners' !
