Castelli Body Paint Bib Short - Men's

I have tried many other bibs, and most were good. Then, I put this on. The first time I wore it, I wasn't sure it was worth the price. Then, I washed it and wore it on a 65 mile ride. It changed the way I think about shorts. The short is very, very tight, and the straps are a bit constricting when you are standing. If you get on the bike and ride, it does seem to disappear. The chamois is perfect, and the lack of seams is incredible. Yes, the lettering comes off quickly. for this level of comfort, who cares. Will buy the 2.0 soon.
Have also worn it on longer rides, and have never been less than very happy.

Good, not great.

Castelli Nero Classic Men's Bib Shorts

This was my first bib, and even though it was miles better than a short, it left something to be desired. The seams rub after about twenty miles, but did not cause me to chafe. I can wear them on rides no longer than 35 or 40 miles. The chamois seems to pad well in the front, but leaves my backside a little sore. That said, I will never buy a regular short again. The look is very good, though. The scorpion logo for this price? Totally worth it.
