Really can't go wrong with this thing. The locking mech is great, good gate clearance, and for a large carabiner it's pretty lightweight.

If you don't do multipitch...get this bad boy. I had it for 4 years before I started doing multipitch and ultimately got the ATC guide, but for single pitch sport this thing is great!!

Seriously, best shoe ever. Between this and the non goretex version, I've owned three of them. Never had a single blister, they are lightweight and fit perfectly. Very durable as well.

Amazing. That pretty much describes what this bag is. I've used one for my sleeping bag, one for my clothes, and one for food when backpacking and it does the trick. No problems compressing it while getting the air out as well as keeping things dry. It does the job.

Had this bag for over six years now...no complaints whatsoever! It's very light weight, stuffs donw incredibly small, is warm and has tons of loft and fluff! What more could you ask for?

Got this as my first board. Love it! I use it about 50% of the time on the groomed slopes and another 50% in the backcountry. Works great for both, no complaints!

Very comfortable pants, even for just wearing around town after a long day of riding. My only complaint is "waterproofness". It seems that after having worn them a few days they started to hold water. Not really drenched to the core or anything, but definitely not keeping all the moisture in control. Either way I still wear them and they work just fine.

This thing gets the job done! It's built well, will take a beating, and has plenty of extra room for boots(mens size 11), goggles, and clothing.

Backcountry really does know how to make a comfortable shirt. Worn this for bouldering, climbing, hiking...you name it. The only thing is the sizing is a bit off...I wear a M or L but in this i'm a small...so just plan on downsizing.

There's not much to say that hasn't been said about these bad boys already. It's simple...they are a lightweight, solid peice of protection that will get you where youre going...safetly...(well depending on you're placement skills or lack thereof). Great buy!

Bought this tent to replace my Mountain Hardwear Light wedge 2...so far, I like this better. While the MH light wedge may stand up better to snow, the tadpole is lighter and much cooler! This thing has no problem standing up to whatever the Colorado 3 seasons have to offer.

If you plan on doing allot of camping and want your tent to last a while...get the ground cloth. Sure, it's a little extra weight to carry, but it's worth it completely. Plus, you can always opt for the lighter option of just the fly, poles, and ground cloth!

I bought this because I had one in a different tent and really liked it...this one not so much. The Tadpole already comes with plenty of pockets and space plus this doesn't really add all that much. It just takes away headroom.

Great material on this thing. Only problem is that the sizing is off. I'm a Medium or Large but in this...I'm a small. Plan on sizing down.

I've had this stove for six years now and have not once had a single problem with it. I've used it on extended backpacking trips, in snow caves, hotel rooms, and the back of my truck...and it's always worked! Never had any problems getting started even in -14 degree weather. It's light and it's simple and if it ever dies I plan on getting another one just like it.

I bought this jacket to use for snowboarding...great buy!! The insulation is just enough to keep you warm with a baselayer and a light midlayer. If it gets to warm ya just unzip the pit vents and youre good to go. My only complaint is that the velcro cuff closure straps broke on the left side...may have been because I use them allot and am pretty rough with them, but either way they should be able to take some abuse. But thanks to backcountry, if that happens just exchange the jacket for a new one! Bottom line, this is a solid jacket and I'd highly recommend it.

It's a solid biner...AND you get six of them!!! Works great with your set of BD protection, color coded.

Great biner. I've used this for pretty much all my carabiner needs...I like it because it's a little bit bigger than most non-locking biners and so the gate clearance is better. It's a little heavier than some, but not by much.

This is my go to biner...alpine quickdraws, protection, chalk bag holder...strapping gear to the roof rack, you name it this thing works perfectly for it. Not much more to say...get one, or fifty!

Had these pants for one season so far and they are amazing! Used them for everything from ice climbing to snowboarding and alpine climbing. They are very durable, comfortable, and obviously water/wind proof. My only small complaint is the suspenders...they work, but just feel awkward to wear. But like I said, just a small complaint. One thing I particularly liked is the fact that they fit over my snowboarding boots even when zipped all the way down. This is perfect for backcountry boarding because nobody wants to hike in actual snowboarding pants...comfy but just too baggy. Anyways, great pants, get 'em!!

I bought these gloves because I was tired of cold hands when belaying and snowboarding in VERY cold conditions. These babies did the trick! I first used them while boarding at Loveland Ski area in Colorado...the temp outside was 3 degrees and the windchill was -18 degrees, despite that my hands stayed perfectly warm, even on the lift!! I've also used them for ice climbing(while belaying) and they work great as well. Great warm glove for a great price! Thank you Black Diamond.

Absolutely no complaints with this helmet. Great for rock, ice, alpine climbing...you name it, it'll do the job. Also nice not to break the bank when buying a helmet. It's light weight, and fits very well, I'd recommend it to all.

This is a solid binding...if you like the front toe auto lock. Personally, I don't care for it too much...but thats just my opinion. Besides that its a solid binding.

Put these on my 06 Xterra...needed longer bolts because the Xterra's crossbars are a little thicker, but other than that these things are awesome. Keeps the interior from getting snow in it or rips in the seats. Solid buy.

Had the older model of this harness for about 4 years now, and I have no complaints! The speed buckles are probably my favorite...doubling back with gloves on is not very easy. Super comfortable and light...really nothing else to say. Great buy!

I've used this for backpacking for about three years...no complaints! I did buy a pair of prana zion stretch pants to replace them recently, and I like the prana's better but they are more expensive. These are solid, never ripped or tore. I'd recommend them to everyone looking for a solid backpacking pant that won't break the bank.
