I was looking to upgrade and honestly wanted something bigger than this pack. The first thing I noticed about this pack is how well it is put together and how well it fits. This is a solid pack you could use forever. The price is very steep and the pockets on the side seem to small. Other than that, i can't find much wrong with this pack. I've taken the the top pocket off and used if for a day pack many times and it has performed like a champ. On weekend trips i've loaded it up all the way and strapped my sleeping bag on the outside with no problems at all. If your checking on a airplane you can take the hip belt of and stuff it inside, no worries. I originally wanted a bigger pack with a bottom compartment, but even with all my gear and pillow from home I've never needed any more room. If you are a 2-3 nighter kinda person who also likes take day hikes go; for it. The bora 50 has a lot to offer for a pack its size. The top compartment is split into two compartments and the kangaroo pocket also has an extra small pocket inside to help organize all those little must haves.
