Salomon 13-Function Pocket Tool

I usually wear an 8.5 or 9. I ordered a 9, they were too small--a little too short, and too tight. I returned the shoe (thanks for processing the credit), ordered a 9.5. I still couldn't quite get the fit (my large toe didn't quite have the room it needed -- without socks my toe nail would scrape the inside slightly as I walked). I happened to find myself in another retail store, tried on a size 10, and decided to buy them. With the heel adjustment strap I can get them to fit comfortably, and I get the width I need. I’ll probably keep the size 9 I ordered, and wear them with socks. Maybe they'll stretch out just enough. I like the shoes -- lightweight, and they breathe well. I haven't used them as aquatics yet, but am anxious to do so. I wish manufacturers would consider wide feet more.
