Hey. I'm going to Ghana in February with Peace Corps...I am definitely going to get the Gregory Jade pack...I'm just not sure on what size I want...the 50 or 60...I tried on the 60 at REI and it was a great fit and I know it would be a good bag...but I'm wondering if I would want a smaller one...I'm not going to be doing a lot of intensive hiking or backpacking...can anyone give me their opinions on size...I'm wondering if I should just give in and get the 60...is it really that much bigger than the 50?

hey i'm heading off to africa for the peace corps...i need a backpack to pack half my clothes and other things in (i plan on taking a smaller suitcase on the side while i travel there) once i'm there i dont plan on doing too much hiking/backpacking, just smaller weekend trips between cities/towns...nothing too intense...would this pack work for this situation? THANKS

Thanks! I'll check that bag out! I won't be doing too much backpacking/hiking trip...It would be mostly for storage to and from Ghana and then I would use it for any short trips I take while I'm there...I plan on taking a smaller suitcase with wheels in addition to a pack but I think a backpack is still a good idea for my situation. Thanks again!

I'm heading to Ghana in February for the Peace Corps. I'll be gone 27 months and am looking into getting a pack for my stuff instead of a suitcase. This seems more practical. I want one that can hold a lot but its not super bulky or too heavy...would this pack be good for that or can anyone recommend one that might better suit my needs?
