These are great shoes, particularly for the price. I've used Sidi Genius shoes for the last 7 years and needed some shoes for a bike tour. These aren't at the level of the genius but are great. They are sized true (I love the 1/2 sizes) but aren't as adjustable for narrow feet as the genius with the buckle. Took my first ride (40 miles+) and had no hot spots and they were confortable straight out of the box. I also did some walking and they were very good. The shoes exceeded my expectations and I'd recommend them. They are a good combination of stiff and efficient on the bike and comfortable for walking- not an easy combination to achieve.
