I'm 6ft 5in and 225 and I got a large. I thought the xl was nice because a bit longer in sleeves, but it was so bulky around the mid section that it looked sloppy.

I am 6'5" and 225lbs and bought a large. I wish the arms were about 1/2" longer, but overall a PERFECT fit. I wear it with a base layer and an IceBreaker sweater. Perfect.

So, I just scored a screaming deal on the 2010 Line Chronic 171

So, I just scored a screaming deal on the 2010 Line Chronic 171 with Waist Width of 85. I'm now really worried after reading all this that I've made a mistake in sizing. I'm 6ft 5in and 225. My previous skinnier type of skis were Rossignol 177's with Waist Width of 70. These Chronics will be my first wide ski. But I feel like from all you've said, that the 171's will be too short (I don't have the option to buy a larger size). My main issue with my Rossignol 177's was that they were too fast for me (I'm an intermediate skier) and they were very hard to turn in. I like long smooth rides down the mountain, medium speed where I don't feel out of control and can turn easily. Thoughts?
