Having had numerous bike racks over 25 years (each said to be 'good' in their day), I finally broke down and bought a quality product instead of going on the cheap and watching bikes wiggle in the wind and scratch car (w/o adding 12 goofy straps). I started with basic T2 and then added on the third bike holder after checking out the original product. Pretty much as advertised, but you need to understand a lot depends on your car, tow hitch, and hitch elevation and how they combine. For example I have a Volvo XC90 (SUV). Because of the bumper design using a hidden hitch which is actually a normal design), the T2 does not 'fold up' to the vertical and lock unless an extension is used or I start cutting out some of their plastic wheel holder (called 'owner modification')-- which makes the whole rig very (read too)long, but I fortunately did not buy for that feature as I would not leave on empty while I run around town (who would? maybe a support vehicle). I can still fold up in a parking space though, but does not lock all the way up. Also, for many vehicles with less than SUV ground clearance you will certainly need the hitch riser. If you have a spare tire you need combo extension-riser and so on. Not that this is at all a negative as a great line of quality accessories are sold and are rock solid..... Yes, even my wife, 120 lb, can easily load a large mountain bike in about 7 seconds as I timed her. I also use the lock-on hitch car with cable lock - which is also nice. I give them a 4.5 as they could do a lot, lot (did I say a lot) more on describing how the T2 could/should be configured for individual cars which could easily be done or at least by car class. That way, you could immediately buy the proper accessories on day one and not go into trial and error. Despite these being huge boxes, this site got to me in UK (but am from USA) in about 7 days and I did not pay for expedited shipping. Do not hesitate from getting a big box from these guys. Great, perhaps best, holding concept on market, but calculate cost with correct accessories (which can increase cost by min - 25$, normally around 85$, decked out 150$).
