My son was lifeguarding and bought the first pair of H2's in our home... - after hearing his good reports for a year - I bought my first pair - that was 2 years ago...
Normally I wear orthitics and am limping around ifI cannot use the orthotics...
However - after reading on foot mechanics - I have been modifying my foot plant - less on the heel and more to the mid-forefoot - and for the past 10 months - i have not had to wear the orthotics - first time in 20 years!!!
Last winter - I used my H2's as indoor "camp-shoes" - instead of slippers or runners
Then in April - august - the H2's have been my ONLY shoe - wearing them for cycling and hiking - I spent a week in the Idaho Wilderness - hiking trails - fording rivers, climbing some rocky trails - and the H2's performed magnificently!!!
The outsole and footbed are in perfect condition - even after all the back-country miles I have put on them
After two years - the stitching on some of the webbing is letting go - HOWEVER - this is much better performance than I had received from any pair of water shoes/sandals I have ever owned...
Also - this was my first pair of closed toe sandals - so I was not sure how I would like that...
After my first "toe-bump" - I am an instant convert - closed toes are the only way for me!!! ha ha
I have read a couple posts regarding the new H2's and lower quality -
I only hope this iis not so - as I just ordered a pair of H2 Escapes - last night - I will provide feedback on them also!!
Keen on Keen!!!!
