Dynafit TLT Radical FT Binding

September 22, 2011

Sandy thanks for the answer. I was leaning toward the Dynafits. It seems to me the two bindings should be similar in their downhill capability with a bit more rigidity in the Dynafit. I was just trying to determine to what extent were they worth $100 more. If I can get equal inbounds performance with easier climbing then Dynafit seems like the right way to go.

Dynafit TLT Radical FT Binding

September 21, 2011

Dynafit Radical FT vs Fritschi Freeride Pro---6'5" 215 lbs aggressive skiier getting BC set up with BD Verdicts 190's with Garmont Axons for boots. Ski will be primarily BC (since I have Mantras with Dukes for the inbounds skiing) but may get used on deep powder days in the resort--so overall 80/20 backcountry to resort skiing. I ski in Oregon in heavy snow. I like the Dynafit Radicals overall but am wondering if they are worth the price over the Freerides?

Black Diamond Fritschi Diamir Freeride Pro Binding -108mm

September 21, 2011

Fritschi Freeride Pro vs Dynafit Radiacal FT---for 6'5" 215 lb agressive skier. Getting BC setup, 190cm BD Verdicts, Garmont Axons have been purchased. Last thing is the binding. Dynafit bindings nice and light but more expensive. Are the Freerides a good option? Looking for a binding that will be 75%/25% ratio Backcountry to Resort Duty. I value reliability and durability in what I buy.

Dynafit TLT Radical ST Binding

September 17, 2011

Radical ST vs Radical FT. I am finalizing a BC setup with BD Verdicts 190 and Garmont Axons. I am 6'5" 215 lbs 44 yo advanced skiier. I do not huck but like steep challenging slopes. I currently ski a Marker Duke on a DIN of 10 and have never pre released. Is the DIN of 12 overkill on a BC binding? Can I get by on the Radical ST DIN of 10?

Black Diamond Verdict Ski

September 11, 2011

Getting a Backcountry set up. Experienced aggressive skier 6'5" 220lbs. Currently ski a Mantra 184 with Dukes and love my skis. I think the Verdicts 2011 would be a good BC ski since it seems like a stiff ski. Question is 180 or 190cm? I like maneuverability in a ski. Lastly, I plan on skiing a Garmont Axon Boot and Dynafit bindings
