Warm, comfortable, good snow/water resistance. Downsides: liner can't be removed, and when your hands get sweaty, the liner gets moist (it didn't dry overnight once); short on the wrists so it doesn't fit well over the ends of your jacket sleeves. Consider spending the extra 40 to 60 bucks if you're going to use mitts for skiing a lot (they are warmer than gloves because you keep your finger together, you just lose a little functionality without the glove fingers -- I usually have to pull my gloves off anyway for straps, etc).
