The North Face Eat My Dust Skirt - Women's

Bought this skirt after reading a recommendation in Trail Runner magazine. Ordered the graphite grey print in a medium per the NF size chart. Turns out it runs big - I could have used a small. Love the look, colors and back zipper pocket, but not impressed with the performance. The shorts don't stay put and the fabric quality is lacking in that it is flimsy and has a rough feel to it which resulted in some chaffing on a short 5 mile run. This was my first NF purchase and will be may last as I am unimpressed with both the quality and performance for the price. If you are looking for a run skirt that performs as good as it looks, try Skirt Sports.

Funky fit and fabric

The North Face Daily Double Seamless Shirt - Short-Sleeve - Women's

Bought this shirt to match a North Face run skirt I bought at the same time. I'm 5'6", 140lb, 34 in chest and 28 inch waist. I ordered a medium. The fit is odd. Tight through the shoulders and too big though the torso. The cut is boxy and not at all flattering. The fabric is "sticky" meaning it sticks to my sports bra and bunches up around the chest, at least until both are saturated with sweat, then it hangs o.k. This along with the run skirt made my first North Face purchase and I have to say I am unimpressed with the brand and even less impressed with the quality for the asking price. Back to my old faithful Mountain Hardware!
