Dagger Catalyst 13.0

Dagger Catalyst Series Kayak

This boat has been a major upgrade for me from my Liquid Logic Sapphire. No doubt the Sapphire was a great boat to learn general kayaking skills in, but I quickly outgrew it. I bought the Dagger Catalyst for a couple of reasons. One, it's faster than the Sapphire—much faster. Two, it tracks extremely well for me not having the rudder on it. Three, two decent sized bulkheads and Four, Great stability, both initial and secondary. I've gotta say that what Dagger says about this boat is completely true. If you’re looking to step up to some more speed and distance, you can't go wrong with the Catalyst. I am going to be getting another (longer) sea touring kayak later this winter, but I will be keeping this boat until the day it retires. Oh, I have to be fair here. I would only have requested that Dagger mold into the bow deck a compass flat for mounting a kayaking compass. It is after all, a touring boat??
