Ok, I'm a pack packrat and will not admit to how many packs and bags I've got. I like to carry a lot of stuff, have quick access, and not look like I'm taking a full sized daypack with me everywhere. This pack is nearly perfect. I wear it cross body, but like the option to use the waist belt if I need to move fast. The waist belt pockets are excellent for quick access. One of the 3 main compartments is padded and fits a Lumix LX-3, casio slow motion camera, and batteries and memory cards. The organizers in the middle pocket are good enough. To make this bag the perfect EDC/man bag, here is what to do: Make the shoulder strap rings a bit beefier. Add a long open flap pocket in the main compartment to organize smaller items. Have a look at the Eagle Creek side kick bag, which has really good organization.
