This bag took the "my favorite bag for everything" honors from a Timbik2 messenger bag as soon as I got it. It is comparable in size, but more comfortable to carry, more and better pockets, more waterproof, and is very nicely though out and imminently practical. In addition to being a great general bag, it also functions very nicely as a stealthy camera bag, especially if used in conjunction with a laptop sleeve or some other padded enclosure to provide extra cushion. For me the key is a zipper on the top that allows getting the gear without having to open the entire flap - allows for quicker and more discrete access when needed during a quick shoot, while the completely open flap allows for more efficient and convenient packing and arrangement when you have time and space.
