I bought this sleeping bag last fall (2005) and used it for two short trips for a total of four nights. By the end of the fourth night, I had two very small tears about ear level on either side in the interior of the bag. They were big enough to let out a significant amount of down. These were not rough trips, just weekend car/tent camping. Im not sure what caused the holes, possibly the zipper, perhaps a freak manufacture defect in the fabric itself. Other than that, the sleeping bag was very comfy. It kept me very warm down to 25F with me just in my skivvies. I like the shape and size of the bag as it had plenty of room to move around in and my feet reached the feet part of the bag. I also liked the idea that when I did go backpacking in the spring I wouldnt be carrying around an extra 6-inches of bag my 54 self didnt need. Also, the external pocket and a down jacket make a great pillow. I was able to return the bag for a full refund. I may try the bag again this spring and see how it holds up.
