How would you compare this to the Patagonia Tri Climate jacket. I notice the liner for the Patagoina is only a vest where this is a full jacket.

I bought the Patagonia but I am noticing this might be better for the bitter cold winters that Ohio gets. Thank you

I purchased this jacket for Ohio weather. the Who-knows-what-youre-gonna-get weather. I went to KY Red River Gorge and we got poured on. This was my first time using this jacket and I decided to test it. I was standing in the pouring rain for an hour and a half playing like a little child. Never got wet. Except I forgot to wear long pants. :) This jacket is amazing for cooler/rainy weather and I am surper positive with the high neck and inner vest lining that it will keep me warm during the blustery winter moments that we get.
