Poor Sizing

SmartWool NTS Midweight 1/4-Zip Top - Men's

I have an older SmartWool sweater, sized M-L (yes medium-large) the sleeve length is generous. I've washed it 100 times, air dried- love it. The sleeves are still nice and long. After reading these reviews, I decided L was for me 6'0" 190lbs. What a disappointment. Sleeves are well above my wrist, body length short (width was OK). I want consistency in sizing and I realize their China Made sweaters are subject to China-Made "adjustments" but for the price we pay for Merino Wool I think a little consistency in sizing is expected. PLEASE manufacturers CONSISTENCY! Perhaps detailed sizing recommendations from Back Country. I gave this a 2, because I look at it, dream it fits, go to my happy place and all's perfect.....
