Have been touring in these pants for the last week and am thoroughly impressed.
With temps. ranging from 0 to -15 celcius I haven't been either cold or overly hot whilst skinning. They insulate really well, while at the same time being breathable to a degree which most shell pants aren't.
I've also been happily surprised with the water repellency of the fabric. I guess only time will tell how durable the DWR finish really is, but so far they have been keeping me completly dry, even when sitting around in the snow over lunch.
My only gibe would be that the cut is rather narrow around the ankles, so that they are stretched tight around my ski boots. Secondly the open pockets (ie. no zip) mean that snow can easily enter, and anything in your pocket is more likely to fall out.
All things considered though I'm stoked on 'em and recommend them to anyone looking for a ski touring pant.
