This bag is very comfortable, but doesn't pack down very small. It is not tremendously heavy and stuffs down smaller in a different sack. This is definitely not a backpacking bag.

My wife is tiny and the extra small is just that. The pack fills up and distributes weight very well. She is a complainer when it comes to hauling gear, but didn't seem to mind 30 lbs in this pack. There are plenty of straps to hook on extras, when you run out of room inside. Also the bag is a lot greener than in the picture.

Great pad

Stoic LTWT Step Sleeping Pad - Regular

Stoic LTWT Step Sleeping Pad - Regular

Rating for this product: 5 June 6, 2012

I used to carry 2 sleeping bags and used one as a pad. This is 1/2 the weight and stuffs down super small. I don't have anything to compare it to in weight, but I spent 11 nights snoozing on it without a problem. Mine did not come with a repair kit, and I have to blow it up to get a fully firm pad.
