I am currently a nursing student in college. I was looking to invest in a quality backpack that can handle the daily stresses of a full-time college student that commutes. I did a lot of research and found that the Surge is a highly positively reviewed backpack. I love mine and it has not let me down once. Great compartments (I no longer need to haul 2 pencil cases since the compartments provide ample space for my pens, pencils, etc. This means no added weight to my pack.). I also love the bottom zip pocket (I use it to store my wallet). Thank you backcountry! I also love the little goat sticker you gave me! It's on my binder!

I'm still giving it 5 stars even though I returned the backpack. I am full-time nursing student and I thought this backpack would be perfect to haul my things. It is a great concept. It has a lot of great thought out compartments and pockets. If I were not a nursing major, I would have kept it hands down. The ONLY thing I would change is to use a more durable material for the outside water bottle pockets. Maybe not use that cheap meshy material but more like what The North Face uses in their top of the line backpacks with a drawstring closure.

My caption says it all. I love the black with purple trim and the whole design of the backpack. If Oakley could make this much larger and use maybe a cordura nylon fabric (any type of tough durable fabric), it would be the PERFECT backpack for female college students. For travel, it would be a perfect companion.

I absolutely love to wear these shoes. I feel light on my feet and they fit true to size. I bought the darker grey color and I find it quite stylish. I also purchased these at a great price from Backcountry.com. I highly recommend them!

I LOVE these shoes! They are so light but give you so much support! I bought the black with the pink bottom. I love it! I may get another pair in a different color.

I was looking forward to using this backpack to replace a backpack that needed to retire. I was disappointed. The backpack was primarily going to be used to haul my textbooks in college. The color was very nice (black, purple, red). Unfortunately, the pack material is way too stiff for my liking. I am not sure if the material will "loosen" after use, but I do not have time to wait for that. I also just do not like the way TNF makes their organizational pockets. I'd rather have pockets placed all over the pack than just in one section. Having it all on one sidewall just makes the pack even more difficult to store your school stuff. I had to return it. My search continues...
