this could be used on the ski hill.

Sierra Designs Sonic Outlaw Softshell Jacket - Men's

This jacket is better quality than I thought. Glacier color seems to stant out. I get XL in all my jackets and they fit well, but this one fits snug around the torso. This blocks the wind very well, my arm out the window of the car @110km -20c my face was frozen and my arm out the window was fine virtually no wind gets through.
