Used this pack on my recent trip hiking the Rockies. Held everything I needed with ease and I was able to carry enough to handle the rapidly changing weather at the higher elevations. After 30 miles over 3 days, I had no soreness or stiffness in my shoulders. The suspension system and air vents made it feel like nothing was even there. The 3L reservoir held ample water and was easy to re-fill even with the pack filled with gear. Overall, I'm thrilled with my purchase.

A bit of a random question, but anyone know if an empty reservoir

A bit of a random question, but anyone know if an empty reservoir will make it past airport security inspections? Obviously a full reservoir would exceed the 3oz limit for carry-on liquids. I ask because I'd prefer to not check a bag if at all possible and just carry on. If anyone has traveled with their packs please let me know how you transported your gear. Thanks!
