My 5-1/2-year-old son has alot of hats (our entire family has alot of hats) but this OR hat with the ear flaps are the ONLY ones he would wear all winter long. He LOVES the blue color and softness and the fact that it keeps his ears warm. In fact, my husband lost his 1st pair and he refused to wear any other hat except his old furry IKKS olive-green aviator hat which was too small for him so then I had to buy 5 more pairs of the same OR hat in the same color! I also bought him a similar hat by Mountain Hardwear but he refused to wear it b/c it was too itchy. He has a big head so when I buy the kids' version of the OR fleece hat, I buy L (6-12) but when I buy the men's version, I buy S/M. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this hat. Have to buy 5 more in the same color & style next year...

After reading all the reviews for the North Face Freedom Insulated Pants, I was extremely excited to receive these pants in the size and color I wanted, Women's Black, size M. The reviews indicated that North Face makes these pants true-to-size. This is absolutely not true. I am always a size Medium but these ski pants fit like clown pants on me, HUGE!, and made me look like a slump. Even after adjusting the waist, I looked like a fat, baggy cow. In addition, the cut for these pants is not very attractive for women. I returned these pants right away, despite the fact that I had to pay for the return shipping charges, but grateful that Dept of Goods is such a reputable company, and ordered a black, size M Nils insulated ski pants. Got the Nils and they made me look beautiful & sexy and fit perfectly. No thanks to North Face for wasting my time and money. Many thanks to Nils for their beautifully cut and well-made and true-to-size ski pants!
