This is a great shell when you need to carry a shell, but don't need bomber protection. I carry this on mountain runs when you need to be protected from afternoon thunderstorms. The light weight and compact size fit easily in a small hydration pack or under a bungee on a hip belt. The shell does not breath the best, but it serves it's purpose. I wore this jacket for the 2008 Leadville Trail 100 where it rained for the entire race. The jacket kept me dry enough to stay warm in the 40F temperatures.

The GlideLite skins are a nice light weight improvement to the classic BD/Ascension skins. With the thing backing, they are prone to edge curling so you need to store them carefully. carry extra tail stretchers as they do break.

The whippet is a must have for any steep skiing. When the snow is hard you will be happy to have a whippet with you for both the ascent and the descents. They are a great tool when you don't want to bring a full ax with.

These are the most active free pivot tele bindings I have skied on. They weigh a little more than the Ascents or Switchbacks,http://content.backcountry.com/images/bcs/buttons/add_review.gif but if you tour on a fat ski and stiff boot, these are the bindings for you. Beware, the spring cartridges loosen and need to be tightened frequently.

I have sworn by the Hard Rock for Ultra Marathons for the past 5 years. The shoe has great protection in the toe box and a cushioned sole to absorb everything the trail throws at you. The shoe is heavier than other shoes which makes it less adequate for short & fast races, but when you are heading out for several hours on the trail, your feet will appreciate the Hard Rock.

These are great trail shoes. They are very light and more comfortable than the Streak's. They have a moderate amount of toe box protection. I have used these on runs of up to 10 miles and found them very comfortable. I plan to train in them up to 20 miles, but will stick with the beefier Hard Rocks for runs over 20 miles.

I would recommend these shoes for any trail runner with good ankle strength (they don't have as much support as heavier trail shoes).

The CWX Sports Bras are the most supportive and comfortable bras I have ever worn. The Mesh Support Bra is even more comfortable since it breaths so well and dries quickly. I run a lot of miles including a 50 mile ultra-marathon and will not run without wearing a CWX sports bra. The soft support web provides the most support and comfort instead of just compression.

This ski was purchased for a backcountry race that had extended flat terrain. The ski has a good combination of kick and glide and downhill stability.

This stuff is a pain to put on. I would recommend either paying a shop to re-glue your skins or buy the iron on glue sheets.

I bought this gaiter to use on a pair of Montrail Hardrock trail shoes (size 10). The shoes were easy to modify to accept the gaiter. The gaiter easily connected to the laces, heal, and the side bands on the shoe (once the seam was cut). I ended up exchanging the size large gaiter for a small as it fit the shoe better. I wore these shoes for the Bishop High Sierra 50 and did not have any problems with the gaiters coming unhooked.

I would highly recommend these gaiters as a great light, breathable trail gaiter.

The Targa T9 is a fantastic binding for Touring. The light weight and 'tour' mode of the heel through makes for easy touring up and a quick transition at the top. This binding is not as active as other bindings which can be felt at the resorts.
