I'd previously commented that I thought the size chart was off. I wear a 42.5 shoe and thought the size large was way too big. well, ordered the size medium and it was too small. rats!

After trial and error I've found that it helps if I lift my toes while pulling on the overshoe. This helps the velcro back apply straight up and down and removes the lumpy look.

Oh, and this overshoe is great for keeping out the cold and wind.

The shoe covers worked fine...for one bike ride!
Second time I put them on the Zipper came off, and I wasn't even pulling on it very hard.
I believe Endura may be having some quality control problems with their Chinese manufacturer.

Here in Oregon weather from Fall through Spring is hard to predict. Usually there is a chance of rain, and I will pack a rain shell just in case. This new Castelli rain jersey may be the perfect product for cool and wet days.
Here are my impressions so far:

I went on a short one hour ride yesterday in typical Oregon rain/drizzle/fog and high 50s. At the end of the ride I did feel a little moisture but could have been persperation. Temperature-wise I was very comfortable.

The fit is typical Castelli (i.e. snug). The construction is fine quality, and the material is a heavy-stretchy fabric that wahes well. The windstopper fabric does stop the wind and helps wick the sweat off. Waterproof? Well, the jersey has a little logo that says waterproof but I'm not completely sold on that, yet. Water does bead on the material, but I would describe it as water resistant when exposed to constant rain.

For me I think I can wear this jersey, light short-sleeve baselayer and arm-warmers down to about 45 degrees and take the warmers off in the high 50s.
One reason I gave only 4 stars is because the white color does not look good after a sloppy wet ride. It would be nice if castelli would make this jersey with some of their fancy graphic designs. All in all a very nice product.

This Castelli vest is good for wind and rain protection. However it does a very poor job of transferring heat/sweat to the outside of vest for evaporation. I went on a ride today in cool 50 degree weather and when I took the vest off the inside was dripping wet while the outside was dry. I don't believe it "breathes" as Castelli claims. I have returned it for refund and continue to look for the perfect lightweight wind vest.

These socks are thin and feel like silk. Wore them on a warm 60 mile ride and they have very good ventilation and kept my feet dry. A bonus was that when I pulled them off they had no stinky smell at all :) I'm a size 9 and the L/XL size just fit without being too big. I'm getting another pair.

The material on this jacket is very odd and very cool. Kind of like a gossamer alien membrane that stretches and weighs less than a piece of toast. I fully expected that it would not keep me dry in the Pacific Northwest drizzle, or that it would tear when I pulled on it.

After a number or rides this Sottile has become my favorite shell. I don't believe it's completely waterproof but highly water resistant. Also breathes and keeps out the wind. I stuff it in my jersey anytime there is any chance of rain.

The one "downside" is the steep price for 3 ounces of plastic. But hey! Alien skin ain't cheap. :)

Aside from the goofy Bird of Prey look the first thing I noticed is the massive split-open look all along the length of this saddle.Have ridden seat twice for 1 1/2 and 2 hour rides. Firmness is okay because it fits my sit-bones. No rubbing on the inside of my thighs, AND... no numbness in my perineum area which was the main reason for trying this model.I think I'm really gonna like this for longer rides. If you get numbness or lots of pressure in the perineum this may work to relieve it.

Just wore this on a two-hour ride this weekend in high 40 to low 50 degree weather. Wore a thin base-layer and also a Craft windbarrier vest. Didn't need the base layer as this jacket was warm enought with the vest underneath. I think this will be a great base layer for really cold weather (30s) and a great Fall/Spring weather jacket on its own (40 to 60 degrees).

Construction quality and fit are superb. I ordered a size two inches larger than my actual chest size so I can layer.

Use to wear Pearl Izumi gear, but I think that Castelli has lots more style.

I give this jersey three stars because the material and construction are very nice.
Like another review here the downside for me is that the armholes are cut funny. They are too high and pinch my armpits.
I wish it fit right because it is a nice jersey. Oh, well. At least Realcyclist will refund $.

Wore the jacket this morning on a 43 degree damp and windy group ride. Good a keeping out the wind and stayed warm with a silk-weight baselayer and thin long sleeve jersey underneath. Lots of compliments on the look, and the construction is solid with thick and breathable fabric.

Oh, and I ordered it on Wednesday morning and got it Friday afternoon. Wow! The customer service is really as good as all the other reviewers say. Thanks!
