Great coat for Canadian North!

Mountain Hardwear Cutaway Jacket - Men's

Just got this coat and went walking in -20C plus wind chill. It is very warm and completly windproof. Also wore indoors at the mall and it's not overly uncomfortable, breaths very well. It is a great all around ski coat and has just right amount of insulation to handle the cold and not be too bulky. The soft shell/ slight stretch in material is amazing, feels like you're wearing a fall jacket/sweater yet you are totally warm. The fit/ cut is athletic with the room you need in the shoulders but slimmer along the body. I am 200 lbs, 35 arm and 44 chest and the XL fits perfect. Can wear with just a base layer and not overly loose, and still has room for a hoodie underneath if needed. Only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that it's water resistant instead of water proof but up in northern Alberta/ Canada we don't get a lot of wet snow conditions. I think it'll be fine for usual snowy days as it does have a DWR finish on it.
