I bought this tent sight-unseen since none of my local gear stores carry MH tents. I think I just bought the wrong type of tentI need something freestanding and probably a 2-person. For a solo hiker who wants an easy and quick set-up and doesn't plan to spend much time in the tent, this would be a good choice.
That being said, I expected more interior space, and am pretty disappointed. Two nights with me and the dog trying to squeeze in have been pretty uncomfortable. I have a hard time sitting up comfortablythe tent shape and dark rain fly makes me feel pretty claustrophobic. I also find the entrance and exit awkward and the small vestibule pretty worthless. BUTthe quality of the tent is great and if I wanted this small of a tent, the PCT would be my choicegood pockets, good ventilation, fairly light, two windows, and easy to set up. Overall, though, I'm going to go with a 2-person tent for just a few more ounces and will be living in luxury rather than a coffin.
