I'll start with the good.
The quality of these pants as far as I can tell is top notch. The fabric is very high quality 3L ripstop nylon. The fully taped seams also seem very high quality. These just seem super burly. They are pretty damn stiff and crunchy and I have no doubt that they would keep the wind and water at bay. 6 pockets are about as many as you could hope for in a ski pant.
Now for the bad.
No vents other than full length side zips and I'm not really sure how you would use those as vents (I knew this before I bought them).
The Tech Specs say they have belt loops, well, they don't and I'll tell you why this a problem.
THE FIT IS BEYOND ABSURD! I ordered 2 of the medium size, one blue and one black. They both fit the same. If I had only ordered 1 I would have thought it was mislabeled. I wear a medium in every other ski pant I have had (Columbia, The North Face, REI, Oakley, Mountain Hardwear) and these mediums are absolutely huge. The Tech Specs say they fit loose, that is a massive understatement. It should say they fit super duper ultra crazy loose. I don't mind my pants being a little baggy, but these go so far beyond a little baggy it's crazy and because of the stiffness of the fabric they don't "hang" like most other fabrics would. I'm 5'11 165lbs with a 32" waist and these pants have at least a few inches to spare, I would guess someone with a 35-36" waist could fit comfortably in these.
I wish they fit because they seem like a very high quality technical hardshell which is exactly what I was looking for, unfortunately the fit is so far off that they are unwearable.
