I just bought the SL-7 & C60 attached to a Burton Cruzer Board. I need to upgrade to T6 next year, because it's so expensive.
Anyhow, the boots are really light and supportive. I've never worn boots like these before. Only thing, wish they weren't made in China. Boots like these should be made in the Good ole USA.
C60 Bindings are not really that light compared to other bindings. I couldn't really feel a difference in weight, but they provide really good carving. I couldn't believe how much of a difference they made compared to my other bindings although the board is really not that great. Again, these should not be made in China. You can see the poor quality with stitching and glue work. The metal stopper on the back scratches the back part of the binding. The first time I rode it, it completely scratched off the entire paint. Not good. I hope Burton fixes it for the next model. Maybe with a lightweight metal bracket.
SL-7 & C60 combined even with a mediocre board are really the best you can get next to an Alpine Setup.
