Cutter Wrap Artist Bar Tape

Cutter Wrap Artist Bar Tape

Rating for this product: 5 August 29, 2012

I foolishly had my bars re-wrapped recently as this was getting dirty. Had I known what I'd be missing, I'd have kept riding it--or at least tried to scour. Have ridden all kinds of tape--including the big name brands. Cutter's by far the best--for cush, for grippiness & texture, for good looks (actually stayed white with care for about 1 year of moderate riding). The screen-printed little alien logos wore off in heavy-use areas but that's the only thing that wore remotely. If I knew the landfill where the used tape was, I go dig it out. PLEASE BRING THIS BACK, Cutter, PLEASE!

Kind of upset that I didn't try one of these locally before getting, but did get for a steal on S&C.
Not sure what those who compare to an Almond Joy or Mounds are saying. Tastes like sweet, chocolate-covered cardboard to me.
But, trusting that the nutritional info is correct & will use as post-ride recovery--with a big bottle of water nearby to wash down.

Best shades I've had.
Got the blue tortoise w/gold iridium for a steal on S&C but now knowing would happily replace for more $.
The happy secret is these are manufactured by Oakley for Fox. You'll discover the signature "O" imprinted on the inside near the hinge.
What more could one want?

These socks helped me get through a foot injury this spring... and continue to be dreamy on the feet. Smoothest sock I own & got for a steal on Bonktown.
Cool & light in high 80's while riding--and while wouldn't use for running as I don't want to wear out-- they're therapeutic & comforting for around the house.
They provide an ever-so-slight amount of compression & the ventilation across the top is fantastic.
Get them.

...then this jersey has a refrigeration unit! How else could it feel breezy in 88 degree weather?
This is my first try with a merino jersey & after several tests both in hot & cool will not return to poly unless necessary.
Initially was hesitant about possible odor, itching, and temp regulation. All answered beyond expectations.
The tag does recommend care with Nikwax, which I was able to purchase at Gander Mtn. after locating on their site for about $5. It's worth the investment as it seems to gently wash. Following the instructions, the jersey came through nicely & what little sweat odor was trapped in the fibers disappeared.
I wear the cream which looks sophisticated with its black contrast stitching. The cream slightly leans to the sheer side but not enough to make an issue of. It is a lightweight merino after all.
Got for a steal on S&C & looking for more. From what have now read & heard Stoic does a fantastic job--right on par if not superior to Icebreaker & Smartwool.
Longevity is only question--have been using for about 6 weeks--both everyday & riding to test--and so far so good.
Don't hesitate--try one!!!

CycleOps Mag+ Trainer w/Adjuster

December 7, 2010

Female rider needs help! What's the best trainer for a modest price? Magnetic? Wind? Brand--does it matter? Used to riding (don't laugh) about 50 mi/wk, avg 15mph. Dying being cooped up with sub-20 weather!!
