Excellent shirt that doesn't stink after 5 days backpacking. I've put this shirt through its paces and wool will replace most of my polypro items in the future. Has pilled a tiny bit after fairly heavy use and will stick with polypro items for things like rock climbing due to abrasion resistence.

My Daughter, age 7, loves her Julbo Deborah sunglasses. They fit well, are comfortable, and look great. They're also not too dark which is something she had issues with in a prior pair of Sunglasses (Suncloud).

I've climbed on Mammut or Edelweiss ropes for several years now. This is a great rope, has proven durable, light and very bright.

The best for parallel thin cracks period.

I love the extendable sling and will be purchasing about 1/2 of these and 1/2 of the camalots in the future. for those that say re-rackign is a hassle, I can tell you that they simply have not climbed with these. The slings are short enough to re-rack without shortening.

Easy to clip, doesn't hang up, great rope bearing surface. I really like these and hoodwires right now.

used this on a couple of longer 6+ pitch climbs to carry water, camera, and food. Perfect in that I forgot I was wearing it.

This is a solid Midweight layer. Its surprisingly warm for its low bulk and is perfect for high altitude summer backpacking trips or any other pursuit where you don't want to stink. The hood is great for cooler nights as well.

Arcteryx has done it again with an amazing design. In the last year we've seen a lot of harnesses appear on the market with minimal padding. Of these, I've found the R300 to be one of the most comfortable. However, the truth behind the matter is that with a lack of padding - or no padding in the case of the R300, comes some lack of comfort. Having experienced several hanging belays in the harness, I'd say that the harness is adequate, but not nearly as comfortable as more padded harnesses I've worn. the most comfortable harness I've worn for such belays is the Petzl Calidris. After 15 minutes or more in the R300 you will definitely be aware of it's presence. the wide Belt and leg loops do a good job of spreading out pressure zones, but even my first bod harness 20 years ago was more comfortable. While climbing you won't even know you're wearing this however...

Love the larger size and the design of both the wire gate and snag proof nose. However, I may be a little partial to the BD hoodwire. Worth a look due to size performance and price.

I've been climbing on my Supersafe for over two years now. It has weathered mileage perfectly, still looks new, and has retained its excellent handling.

After 20 years of climbing I can say that I prefer Mammut and Edelweiss ropes for their superior handling, long life, and excellent craftsmanship. I use this on longer alpine and rock routes that require double rope rappels or that wander. I like being able to use as either a twin or a double. These have seen some miles and are holding up very well.

I have yet to ski these in deep snow, but am very excited by my experience to date. They have been warm, comfortable, and do indeed ski as a stiff boot. Regarding Leigh's comments, I've found that current boots have more forward flex than old school boots and often times the 130 flex in new school boots seems much less impressive and stiff. However the boots are tortionally stiff as hell and have skied very well. The walk mode is a great compromise for a sidecountry boot and it walks well, but won't replace my scarpas for longer tours. They're light for something this beefy.

This is an easy to use and safe Anchor system when dealing with Bolted Anchors.A webolette or a cordelette is much better when setting natural anchors due the the larger distances and challenges created by natural 2 and 3 point equalized anchors. However, the PAS is very effective and beyond quick at bolted belays.

I purchased these for long trail backpacking and hunting. While I'm still in the break in period I have been very impressed by build quality and materials. They are certainly on the same level as the Asolo boots they replaced. I've noticed that they give the same level of support as the Asolos, but they have a greater level of rocker that puts a spring in your step and the slightly softer leather and design of the boot have led to a more comfortable break in. I've done as many as 6 miles in them with mild loads and to date have had no issues, once I figured out the right sock combination. They have proven to be highly waterproof as well. I look forward to longer days and seeing if these prove to be anywhere near as durable as they look. As it is, I believe these will last for several years of hard use.

My son loves hid new boots. We've had significant amounts of both snow and rain since the purchase and these have kept his feet warm and dry. He loves the truly adult styling as well.
