Probably the stoutest most bombproof tele binding available. Better floor plate and simpler than the Axl, not to mention about $100 cheaper. Don't have to be constantly fiddling with the cable tension as is often the case with other cables like G3 and BD. Fantastic power to the ski and adjustable over a wide range with five settings. Able to drive a large boot and ski wi great control and responsiveness (I am running them on 188cm Coombacks and size 29 T1s). I will be converting all my serious tele skis to Hammerheads, and selling the Axls I have.
Only drawbacks are they are not the easiest to get into in deep snow (all properly adjusted cables share this issue) and the tension adjustment is not as easy as on the Axl, but realistically you're not changing those around all the time after initial experimentation. Recommended without reservation.

Great in all respects. Xl size is perfect for me (6'2", 210, 35" sleeve), doesn't shrink, doesn't stink, neck is just e right height. I use the mid weights in winter, the lightweights the rest of the year. Have used a lot of Icebreaker and while the wool is great the sizing is skimpy and they do shrink, plus being significantly more expensive. The neck on the Patagonia doesn't bear speaking about, this is the best midwest wool top going and extremely versatile.
