Five Ten Freerider Shoe - Men's

Alright, I ordered 3 of these guys, the first time the strap located on the tounge as cut in half. The second time and the third time the tough leather was sticking out on the right side of the foot enough to actually damage my socks after walking around the house for a minute. It was a painful experiance and I am going to wait a long time before i try buying from five ten again.

Other than that, this shoe seems like it would be a very grippy, durable, and comfy shoe, there seems to be a lot of people that like them; so if your into mountain biking and need a shoe I would say try you luck, but keep the return handy for a few days as you decide wether to keep them or not. And look in the upper right corner for a whole lot of extra material sticking out to poke at your foot on the right shoe. This defect was on two out of three shoes, so I am not sure if it is a defect or that is just how sloppy the company is at making shoes.

Now I just use clips to mountain bike, and they definatley work well, you just got to use them a few times before you can clip in and out as fast as platforms, but you do get that fast. For downhill, I would probabley run with platforms since you don't peddle much and need better safety cause your going a lot faster.
