Gore Bike Wear Power 2.0 3/4 Length Women's Tights

Gore Bike Wear Power 2.0 3/4 Length Women's Tights

Rating for this product: 5 September 29, 2012

I prefer to have my knees covered while on my bike, so I like the below the knee length of these tights (I would like them even a bit longer) I can wear these spring, summer, & fall in Pacific Northwest. Very comfortable to ride in. Chamois is soft and flexible, not too bulky. Have to squiggle around a bit on my saddle to get it in the perfect place, but then it is (perfect!) The waist on these is a bit high, so rolled it down at first, but then traded down a size. Currently wearing size small (at 5'5", 117lbs).
Customer service at Real cyclist is the best!

Love these! These have no distortion, and they did not fog up in the cold! I do prefer a non-mirrored lens due to less 'finger print smudges'. They stay on your face and don't cause any discomfort around temples, or nose. Very comfortable. The best thing about this pair of glasses is that they are rimless! It is as if they are not even there. I had to return first pair purchased due to a scratch in mirrored finish, replacement sent promptly. Every time I have dealt with any customer service reps at Real Cyclist they have been excellent, going above and beyond to help out.

Good shoe for the price! Good heal retention. Ventilation good, with lots of toe room. (I have a wide toes and they were comfortable.) I typically wear women's shoe size 8 or 8 1/2. In these I fit a 39.5 Velcro adjustment straps a little bulky if you need to pull them extra tight.

Louis Garneau Wind Dry SL Shoe Covers

Rating for this product: 3 January 17, 2012

Worn in 30 degree weather, over Sidi road shoes. Feet were relatively comfortable. After about 2hrs my toes were getting cold, but not crazy numb like without booties! They are wind resistant, with a slight fleecy interior, but not thick material. (I am considering lining them with wool for more warmth.) Only drawback is that you must put them on before your shoes, then after shoes are on, pull the cover around your toe to fit onto your shoe and attach the Velcro tabs on the under foot. Fine once you get used to it. (Getting dressed to ride in the winter is a bit of a process) There is a Velcro closing gusset at top of ankle, to make room to pull on over thick winter socks, and silicone leg grips seal out rain.
