SmartWool NTS Microweight Hipster Underwear - Women's

SmartWool NTS Microweight Hipster Underwear - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 January 17, 2011

These worked perfectly for an 8-day climb/camping trip in cold weather. I would wear these for everyday work/errands/life as well as for outdoor play time. Couldn't even tell I was wearing them, no bunching or climbing up. Warm, but not uncomfortable. True to size, 4-6 normally, but I bought a medium just to be safe.

Dexterity

Outdoor Research Alti Mitten - Men's

Rating for this product: 3 January 8, 2011

Although these mittens may do the trick for providing warmth and dry hands- I returned them before I got to use them. The are beyond bulky and couldn't imagine using them for what I needed them for. Just climbed Kili and needed more dexterity for trekking poles and some scrambling, these mittens would have been a burden. For other uses, they're probably great. Ended up going with some Cabelas and liners.

Not for curves

The North Face Paramount Valley Convertible Pant - Women's

The North Face Paramount Valley Convertible Pant - Women's

Rating for this product: 3 January 8, 2011

Although these pants appear to be a pretty decent pair, I struggled with the fit. I'm about 5"2, 120 lbs and wear 4-6. These were too snug (6 short) and not stretchy at all. Not a lot of give and a much better fit for girls who have less curves than I do.
