I had been holding out on buying one for over a year. The price was just a little out of my range for a hoody.
That was stupid.
This fleece is my favorite garment. Period. As far as comfort, flexibility, and quality, nothing else compares.
It's not as warm as my Kavu fleece, but in most situations that is a good thing. It is also about 1/4 the weight.
The stitching gets caught on stuff occasionally, but it has yet to loosen anything.
The fleece is pretty damn wind-proof. I'm talking 30mph on a cycle in 15F and I feel almost nothing through it(only had a Stoic Composite longsleeve underneath).
It resists quite a lot of rain also. Not nearly as waterproof as my Stoic Luft Hoody, but to shirk the first 30minutes of a light rain, this will do.
The hood is very comfortable and fits tightly enough that when combined with a furry hat, I don't even need a scarf.
The draw string around the waist is key. I forgot to use it for the first couple weeks, and kept getting a chill underneath. Then i remembered the string, and it is essentially form fitting now.
I definitely love this friggen thing. Its worth the hundy.
EDIT: I should mention the color. I have Deep/Empire. The yellow is quite bright on the zippers, but honestly, it looks good. I have gotten a lot of complements. It is not as sexy as the old Slate/Orange, but since that's discontinued, too bad. I have a friend with the Black/Deep, and I like mine better. His black is really jet, and for some reason I don't like it as much. This blue is bright, but not quite as much as it looks above.
