Great all round jacket!

The North Face Apex Thermal Jacket - Mens

The Apex is a great all weather jacket. I've used it for skiing in mild conditions with just a lightweight under layer. It really does block wind well. To get the full benefit the pockets should be zipped up as they let in some draft in windy conditions. Light rain and snow bead up on the fabric and roll off. It breaths well enough that it is not hot when worn indoors. When I don't know what the day's weather holds in store, this is the jacket I grab!
