not the best, but work great for super bright days out in the snow. no need to spend a ton of money if you do not plan on spending extended times on a glacier. great buy for the average snow traveler.

works great, have used it with a few different pots and seems to work better than without it. not sure how much faster or better it is, but it does work.

this is a great price for a super light/durable cook set. this set is light, as in feels like air. the lid doubles as a pan which makes this set versatile. handles work great, highly recommended.

if this shoe is good enough for Jeff Spicoli, it is good enough for me. casual enough for board shorts, yet you can still wear them out. super comfy, and no laces, best combination. get some.

it keeps my pants from falling down, so it works great. no slip, i guess that is why they call it the friction belt. great lightweight belt that works, and a good price.

good pant, material feels quality and they should last a long time. unfortunately with my waist of 31, smalls are a tad snug and the mediums are a tad to big, however with the built in belt north face has taken care of this issue the best they can.

got this bag for my girlfriend, for those not so cold winter nights. with the regular at 5'10" it is plenty long enough for her at 5'4" with room to spare. hasn't used it in the field yet, but I can not see how it will fail, great company, and a great bag. has a great baffle system to keep you toasty all night long.

have not used this in super cold temps yet, only temps around 20 degrees and it was super toasty. great bag, and the material feels quality. as a note the regular height is 78 inches not 72 inches, however even at 5'7" I feel that the little extra room is great for putting boot liners and anything else that you need to dry. looking forward to taking this down to 0.

this helmet is amazing, i own the giro g9 and bern baker hard hat, this helmet is by far my favorite and lightest. it feels as light as a beanie yet super warm on cold days and vents well for spring days. for anyone that has worn uncomfortable heavy helmets in the past and switched back to hats, get this helmet and you will not be disappointed.

similar to the duke, just a little lighter and not as burly of a din. i have had the duke in the past, and only went to the baron because dukes were out of stock, but i have not noticed a difference at all either inbounds or touring. skis the same and i think that this is the answer for lighter weight skiers that do not need the 16 din of the duke.

fit true to size, 8-8.5 and a medium fits great, super warm and comfortable. the wool on wool makes the sock super comfy without being to bulkly.

this is the pack, if you are looking for absolute waterproof protection get this pack. i only used it a few times this winter, but the side zipper access is the best, you can access everything you need from this one zipper. also took it for an overnight ski tour, was able to drop off a lot of gear at our camp then cinch this pack down to a good size and carry skis a-frame. got the gold rush color and love it. it is well worth the money.

simply amazing ski. this skis floats and turns on a dime when the snow gets deep, but still rallies when the resort has been hammered. a little stiffer than hellbents but still super playful. works good at speeds without tip chatter. perfect west coast daily driver or powder ski. made in reno, and you can tell that the quality is there. get some.

super fun and playful boards. huge tip and tail rocker however they are a little bigger than the size suggests. this ski works great from powder to soft chop, not the best carving ski but you shouldn't be on groomers with these skis to begin with. get some.

great all mountain ski, was able to use it with 5" fresh at snowbird. floated well and skied great after the mountain was chewed up. great all mountain ski that will still work when the snow totals start to add up.

quaility sock that is padded just enough for an everyday hiker. breathes well and has the goat plastered all over, what is there not to love about that.

great lightweight socks, with the sick goat logo. comes up a little higher than i wold prefer, but other than that they are quaility. i am an 8.5 and the sm/m fits perfect.

my girlfriend has worn nike free 5.0 and finds these shoes to be even more barefootish. i wouldn't recommend lacing a pair of these up without letting your foot get use to the lack of cushion. but after that, you will feel like a track star, running with such light shoes is a great feeling. join the revolution and just say no to cushion.

this is a great waterproof shell, nothing to fancy just the basics to make this a great buy. pit zips for core cooling, waterproof and breaths well. also this is nice and light, great addition to bring along regardless of the adventure.

great lightweight puffy that is super warm. my girlfriend wears it all the time, this jacket is always in her pack from summer camping to winter ski tours. everybody should have a lightweight puffy that is always close by.

got this for my girlfriend, and winter camping will never be a struggle again. with 9 inches of loft, you feel as if you are hovering when you sleep in this bag. have not taken it down to below 0 yet, but at 0 she said it was her best cold weather night she ever had. this is a well made american product, buy it and never fear the cold again.

my girlfriend is 5'4" 125ish and wears a size small in these pants. yes they are tight but that is how they should fit. she has worn them in temps around 30 degrees and was completely comfortable. a great pant and she can definately tell the difference between these and regular spandex. they are expensive, but well worth it to be able to run in the winter and be comfortable.

this is a great pack, however you can feel the avalung on the left shoulder, not a huge deal since it can possibly save your life, but at the same time you know it is there. perfect size, and super comfy (other than the avalung). avy pocket fits shovel and probe perfectly. holds everything i need for a day in the backcountry.

this is the pole that you see in the backcountry, and there is good reason for that, it is bomber. this is a great pole and is one of the cheaper options out there. the extra grips are key. great price, great pole.

this is an amazing tool, a little added sense of security when you need it most. fun to take out, great for both the up and the down. get one, they are awesome.

bought this for my girlfriend, and she absolutely loves it. she is 5'4" 125ish and a medium is spot on. skied at alta the other day when it was around 5 degrees, she had a few layers underneath it and was super warm. has a great look to it, if it comes in stock again, pull the trigger since they wont last long.

sweet jacket, i am 5'7" 145 and got a small, fit is right on. this jacket is guaranteed waterproof and breathable, but at a super light weight, cant get much better than that. the blue color is really nice looking, have taken this jacket out touring a few times and have not been disappointed and i do not think it will disappoint in the future.

not much else to say about this glove that hasn't been said, super warm but still plenty of dexterity. the green color is sick. i will no longer buy any other gloves.

awesome shoe, i have not had it on the trail yet, but i have been walking and some light jogging with this shoe. super low profile, feels like you are truly running barefoot, stoked to go running.

not a bad pack, but the avy pocket is to small, i could not fit my small deploy 3 shovel and probe in the pocket. just seems like a poor design. other than that this would be a great pack.

this is a great touring pack, after a few tries this season i have settled on this pack. great a-frame carry, diagonal isn't the best but it will work. the pack is super comfortable, like you are not wearing a pack at all. the only problem with this pack is the the hydration holder inside the pack is super short to accommodate the rear entry zipper, a little annoying but i can deal because of the comfort factor. great avy pocket, can fit shovel, probe and handle. good pack can handle most days.

i have not skied on these yet, so this i just a first impression review. i have just replaced a pair of marker dukes with the f12 for my touring specific setup. first off the drill holes are the exact location as the dukes, so no re-drill was needed which is sweet. The binding is considerably lighter than the duke, which will make the backcountry slog a little more enjoyable. the bindings feel super sturdy and obviously lighter. i think it will be a great mix for mainly touring and a little bit of resort. super stoked to get out on them.

this is a comfy sock not super thin but has enough weight to keep your feet toasty warm. good padding in all the right places. sock fits true to size, order with confidence.

not a bad rain jacket for the price, but i am not crazy about it. actually the material feels pretty cheap. the taxi cab yellow is harsh on the eyes, not quite like the color shown. i am sure that it will keep the rain out, but personally i will spend a little more for a proper rain jacket.

bca has completely reinvented this pack. simple yet extremely effective, it has everything you need for a day in the backcountry. super comfortable with a great back panel and just the right amount of pockets. the avy tool pocket is perfect for my bd deploy 3 shovel and bd probe. the main pocket has two entries, making it super easy to get to your gear. a overall great pack that can hold its own vs bd, dakine, and osprey.

this pack is will work for touring but i have a few complaints with it. first the avy shovel pocket is to small for shovel, probe and handle. i own the bd deploy 3 shovel (which is somewhat small) and it was a super tight fit to get the shovel and probe in together. next is that all of the adjustment straps are super long, as if this pack was made for chewbacca. pack has plenty of room and good materials, just miss the mark a bit. i will be getting the new Backcountry Access Stash BC Pack instead.

a solid jacket but has a little longer fit then I would like. I am a medium in all mtn hw products (5'7" 145) and this jacket sits about 3" lower than my medium hooded compressor. other than that i liked this jacket, but will be returning because of fit.

this a great sock, fit true to size and some great colors, this is my 3rd pair, they last and are super comfortable without too much material. a good sock at a good price.

awesome jacket, super light weight yet super warm. this jacket is really compressible (just like the name says), i have never had a synthetic jacket compress almost as good as down. this jacket will be my new go to jacket for all season and all activities, and the material is buttery smooth.

if you like the original tracker, you will love this one. needed to replace my old tracker and went with this obvious option. this beacon is awesome, the pull tab for search mode is great, you will always know what mode it is in. have only practiced with it twice, but seems a little faster and more accurate than the original. do yourself a favor and buy this beacon, super simple to use and a trusted name.

this pack is a little small to be taken into the backcountry, i would for sure call it a slackcountry/resort pack. just enough room for a few layers, shovel and probe. pack fills up quickly with skins, water, shovel, and probe not much room for anything else. also for the avy pocket you have to undo a buckle in order for it to unzip completely. solid pack if you use it near the resort or very short backcountry trips.

a super solid pant, really light weight, yet they seem like they will be able to take a beating. only grip is the weird little buckle/belt like thing around the waist, doesn't seem to do much, but other than that a great lightweight touring shell for sure.

this jacket has potential to be great if it fits you right. for me, not so much. i am 5'7" 145 and ordered a small, this jacket does have a nice slim fit (which i love) however the jacket and the sleeves are way to long. this jacket fits more like a parka coming down to my thighs, not quite the athletic cut I was looking for. so if you are skinny and tall order with confidence, if you are short watch out.

first off, i really wanted to like this jacket, but it didn't happen. the actual yellow is a lot duller and not as vibrant as the picture. i am 5'7" 145 and the small fit great except for the sleeves, they are just to d*mn long. also the hood is kind of big, if you wore a helmet all the time it would be good, but just for you dome it is a little to roomy.

i am 5'7" 145 and got a small, the shirt fits great and is super comfy, but the arms are just to long. they hang over my palms, not sure if people like this fit but i do not. other than that a good base layer for sure.

nice sock but it comes up over my knee, not a huge fan of that (but i do have shorter legs). i am a size 8.0 and the sm/m fit true to size other than the length. good sock if you don't mind the length being high.

I got the pink beanie, well because who doesn't like pink. super comfy and warm, great addition to the collection.

this headlamp is crazy bright, as in it feels like day time when it is dark. has amazing burn time and even shows how much battery life is left so you are never caught in the dark. get one.

needed to replace a broken lens from last year, went with the orange silver chrome, good all around lens especially in flat to low light conditions. good lens, great goggles.
