I purchased and was able to test this Brunton. With the severe weather had recently in Los Angeles, I left my Brunton outside the kitchen sliding glass door to test its accuracy. It predicted the weather just as advertised and I could read the display through the door. It calculates windspeed quickly. The display is easy to read and the modes are easy to move through. The only downside to the product is altitude is calculated by the barometer. That means when the pressure lowers to indicate rain, the altitude reads lower. You have to have an idea of your altitude in the first place. You will not get an accurate reading unless the sky is clear and no rain is forecast. Otherwise, it is a useful tool.
