The only pair I could find that don't look like boyscout shorts when unzipped. Super comfortable semi strectch fabric and feel very well made. The only thing is these are not super light nylon like hiking pants and may get warm, so perfect for cold early morning starts and warm days. For hot weather you may want to go lighter.

I'm debating between this Alpha SV or the Theta AR. I'm 6'2 and 195 lbs. and have fairly long arms. Should I go with the XL? My main use for this would be on and off trail hiking so I want something really durable that will handle tree branches and rock scrapes for quite a while. How does the length/fit and material stiffness differ in the Alpha vs. Theta? Any input is much appreciated.

Does anyone know if the Vertical jacket is 40,70, or other denier

Does anyone know if the Vertical jacket is 40,70, or other denier fabric weight. I'm one of those that kind of likes the stiff ultra durable feeling in the fabric. Is denier weight the main factor here or is it more about the number of Gore-Tex layers? Any suggestions for a jacket that still has that stiff durable feeling? I'm not particularly loyal to any specific brand at this point.
