Great slab shoe

Five Ten Rock Wrench Climbing Shoe

I got a pair of these for granite slab and crack climbing. They get the job done very well, and I would absolutely recommend them for those uses. Small edges, smearing, cracks, you've got it made with these on your feet.
However, this is not a multi-purpose all-round shoe. Overhung bouldering/sport/gym? Forget it. Small pockets (limestone) for footholds? Not a chance. The heel isn't great either.

Very very good at what they are made for, not so much for everything else.

Sport shoe

Evolv Pontas Climbing Shoe

I got a pair of these on sale to have something for sport/bouldering, especially for limestone cragging. They get the job done well- great edging, work well on small pockets, rubber sticks as well as anything else Ive used. I've put in maybe 25 sport pitches plus one day in the gym on them, so a bit early to say on durability and overall quality. So far, I've found them to be a good choice for a dedicated sport/bouldering shoe.
