They will stretch and break in, I wear a 46 in street shoes, size 12, and I ordered a 44.5 in the testarossas and I wish i had gone another half size down. La Sportiva shoes always need to be sized down a bit in order to get the tightness that you want. If you can wiggle your toes separately, then the shoe is too big and should be sized down a little. I have a normal to wide foot and these fit great because of the laces, which allow you to customize the tightness of the shoe to make them fit like a glove. These shoes will hug your feet and I only lace them up when I am about to try something serious, because otherwise they just work so well loose laced. Hope this helps.

This jacket is bomber, the guys at RAB literally thought of everything. It zips very high to cover your chin completely, and keep rain/snow/whatever from going down your jacket. It is light weight, weighing in at only 16oz. and the high hand pockets make accessing your stuff easy no matter what is around your waist. The external pockets also have zipper flaps on the inside, along with a waterproof zipper to make sure that your essentials never get wet. The hood is completely compatible to a head or a helmet, and it can adjust in 2 places (one in the back, and two pull strings in the front). The event technology cannot be beat. I had a goretex paclite before this and it was like wearing a plastic bag compared to this. Also the arms are long enough for me since I am 6'2" 195lbs. (I ordered a large) and there is tons of fabric underneath your arms so that when you lift them above your head the jacket barely rides up, it will a little if you try, but not enough to complain about. The only thing that takes a little getting used to is that it zips Euro-style, meaning the zipper is on the left which can be a bit foreign to guys, but you get over it/used to it very fast. One last thing that I think sets this jacket apart, is the fact that the brim of the hood is a moldable wire that you can curve to whatever suits your activity best. It is small details like this that make RAB among the best.
