I'm real happy with this toasty down ski/town jacket. It is warm to zero degrees, maybe more, and it has a sophisticated look. The tailoring is as good on any down jacket I've seen. The cut is trim, with much less room than my previous Marmot down jacket, but a shirt and fleece still fit comfortably underneath. It's got tons of pockets, maybe even the 8 or so pockets inside and out are too much of a good thing. The pit zips may find a use someday, so they are probably good to have.
The hood doesn't wrap around across the face, mask-like, as some other jackets do, and I do wish it was a bit fuller. I miss the face covering on the coldest days. Also, getting a ski helmut underneath is difficult.
This is a warm functional jacket on the slopes and when out for dinner on a Saturday night, I don't look I'm working for ski patrol.
